Corvi for students and researchers
Last updated: 2026-10-29
Students and researchers read and watch more than they can finish: recorded lectures, papers, course readings, forum threads. With Corvi on a Mac, tap Fn to hear the gist of a lecture video or a paper, double-tap to ask about a point you didn't get, and hold Fn to draft notes and essays by speaking. Free during early access.
Reading and watching
- Recorded lectures on YouTube: tap Fn to hear what the lecturer covered, then go to the parts that matter for you. See summarize YouTube videos.
- Papers and long readings: hear the question, the method and the finding before you commit to reading the whole thing. Select a single section to hear just that.
- Sources in another language: an English paper can be summarized in your own language, in any of 35 languages.
- Ask until it's clear: double-tap Fn and ask "What's the difference between these two methods?". Each answer goes deeper; if the source doesn't say, Corvi searches the web and names where the answer came from.
Writing
- Notes: after a lecture, hold Fn in your notes app and say the three things you want to remember.
- First drafts: talk through your argument out loud and let it be typed; editing a rough draft is easier than facing a blank page.
- E-mails to professors and group chats, with the right tone per app.
A study session with Corvi

- Watch only the two parts that matter for your assignment.

- Hold Fn in your notes and say the three points you'll use.
Stop typing. Stop reading. Talk and listen.

A summary helps you decide what to read and understand it faster. It doesn't replace reading material you'll be examined on, and AI summaries can contain mistakes. Check your school's rules on AI tools for assignments.
